SOUL ARCHAEOLOGY

Emanuele Tozzoli is interested in uncovering the layers that have been laid on the soul since childhood through experiences, but also through stories and myths that are hundreds, if not thousands of years old.

Emanuele works quickly and usually in one go so that he is controlled as little as possible by his own thoughts during the creative process.

This gives his works coherence and rhythmic cohesion.

His drawings and sketches tell us how long and intensively he has worked on a subject in advance. No motif reappears exactly the same in his paintings, but each one is like a piece of a mosaic on the way to approaching the countless aspects of the human psyche.

His artistic talent was recognized early on: in 2018, at the age of 29, he signed a contract with the Saphira and Ventura Gallery, New York City, N.Y.

In 2019, he began working continuously together with artbase in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Various solo and group exhibitions have already taken him to all continents.
