1 54 Contemporary African Art Fair 2026

Artbase will be exhibiting works by Aliou Diack as part of the ‘1-54 Fair for Contemporary African Art’ at Somerset House in London.

The artist will be presenting large-scale works on paper that explore the origins, the power and the mysterious interconnections between living beings.

Aliou Diack, who divides his time between Dakar (Senegal) and Paris (France), will take the contrast between the architecture of the elegant, classical palace Somerset House on the Thames and the elemental power of his works to the extreme.
